Berry juice production line

Check which machines are included in a line for producing juice from raspberries, currants, chokeberries, blueberries, bilberries, strawberries and other berry fruit.

Equipment in line

Equipment for berry fruit

We configure the line depending on whether you want to produce clear juice, juice with more pulp, pulp or purée.

01 / Raw material feeding

Bin tipper

Feeds berry fruit from a pallet box to the washer and stabilizes the start of the entire line.

04 / Pulp or purée

De-stoning machine

Prepares pulp, purée or a fruit base. This option is used for thicker products, not for classic pressed juice.

05 / Buffering and filtration

Buffer tank and bag filter

The tank stabilizes product flow before pasteurization, while the bag filter helps produce clearer juice.

How the complete line works

From fruit intake to finished packaging

A berry line must handle delicate raw material without unnecessary crushing before the main processing stage. That is why the configuration is selected for the specific fruit, desired product texture and packaging method.

Fruit intake and preparation

The process starts with safe unloading of fruit from containers or pallet boxes. The raw material goes to the washer, where it is rinsed, transported and prepared for further processing.

Pressing, pulping and buffering

A belt press extracts juice from the prepared pulp, while a de-stoning machine is used when a thicker product, pulp or purée is required. The juice or semi-finished product then goes to a buffer tank, which stabilizes operation between fruit processing, pasteurization and filling.

Pasteurization and filling

The finished product is heated in a pasteurizer to a set temperature to improve shelf life and product safety. At the end of the line, the product can be filled into Bag-in-Box bags or bottles, depending on the sales model and planned capacity.

What do we choose in the project?

  • washing, pressing, pasteurization and filling capacity,
  • product type: juice, juice with pulp, pulp, purée or fruit base,
  • packaging method: Bag-in-Box or bottles,
  • machine layout for the production hall, operation and future service.

FAQ

Berry juice production line

What berry fruit can be processed on this line?

The line can be configured for raspberries, currants, chokeberries, blueberries, bilberries, blackberries, strawberries and similar delicate fruits.

Can berry fruit be processed into juice, pulp or purée?

It depends on the planned product. Berry fruit can be processed into clearer juice, juice with more pulp, pulp, purée or a fruit base for further processing. That is why the line may include a belt press, de-stoning machine and bag filter.

What does the process of producing raspberry, currant or chokeberry juice look like?

The process usually starts with gentle feeding and washing of the fruit. Then the raw material is crushed, pressed or pulped. The finished juice, pulp or purée can be buffered in a tank, filtered, pasteurized and filled into Bag-in-Box bags, bottles or other packaging.

Does berry juice need to be filtered?

Filtration depends on the expected final product. If the product should be clearer, a bag filter or another filtration stage can be added to the line. If the target product is juice with pulp, pulp or purée, filtration can be limited or omitted.

Can one line process different berry fruit?

Yes, one line can process different but similar berry fruit, but differences in raw material structure must be taken into account. Raspberries, currants, chokeberries, blueberries and strawberries may require different washing, grinding, pressing, pulping or filtration settings.
