The bottle filling machine is used for precise filling of juices, drinks, syrups, oils and other liquid food products into glass and PET bottles. The machine operates in a gravity system, allowing bottles to be filled evenly without excessive product aeration.


The semi-automatic filling machine works particularly well in small and medium-sized production plants where dosing accuracy, simple operation and the ability to work with different bottle formats are important. The tank with a heating jacket allows hot filling up to 90°C, so the machine can be used, among others, in the production of juices, cider, syrups, drinks and craft products.

How a bottle filler works

Product preparation

The product goes into the filling tank, which can maintain liquid temperature thanks to the heating jacket. This allows cold or hot filling.

Bottle arrangement

The operator places bottles under the filling heads. Machine adjustment allows the station to be adapted to different bottle heights and diameters.

Gravity filling

The product flows into bottles by gravity. This system ensures even filling and limits liquid aeration during the process.

Process control

Level and temperature sensors help control machine operation. Once filling is complete, the bottles are ready for closing and further packaging.

Filling tank

It stores the product before filling and ensures uniform feeding to the filling system. Depending on the configuration, it can also work with the product heating system.

Filling heads

They are responsible for precise dosing of liquid into bottles during the filling process. Their design helps maintain a repeatable filling level and stable machine operation.

Conveyor belt

It enables bottles to be positioned and guided correctly under the filling heads. This helps the filling process run smoothly and safely for different bottle formats.

Heating jacket

It allows the product temperature to be maintained in the tank and enables hot filling. This is important for juices, syrups and other products that require stable temperature.

Three-way valve

It works with the level sensor in the filling tank and controls the direction of product flow. When the sensor detects that the tank is full, the valve switches position and the juice returns to the buffer tank instead of continuing to fill the filler tank.

Temperature sensor

The temperature sensor monitors the product temperature in the filling tank. The current temperature is displayed in the control box, allowing the operator to monitor filling temperature and maintain appropriate filling conditions.

The filling machine handles bottles with a height of 100 to 360 mm and a diameter of 50 to 180 mm. In practice, this range covers many popular glass and PET bottles, from smaller packages of approximately 250 ml, through standard 500 ml and 1 l bottles, to larger PET packages, for example approximately 5 l, if their shape and diameter fit the machine guides. For comparison, a typical 1-liter glass bottle may be approximately 23.5–25 cm high, and sample 5-liter PET bottles are approximately 32–36 cm high.
