MODEL OF A BUFFER TANK
Buffer tank up to 10,000 l
The Stalmont buffer tank is used to receive and temporarily store product between subsequent stages of a production line. It helps stabilize the flow of juice, puree or another product and reduces the risk of downtime when several machines with different capacities are operating.
We manufacture buffer tanks with a capacity of up to 10,000 l, selected individually for the production line, product type and required equipment. The tank can be prepared with suitable process connections, an inspection hatch, pump, level sensors or CIP system.
What is it for?
The buffer tank is used to temporarily store product between subsequent stages of the process, allowing the entire line to run smoothly and without sudden interruptions.
This solution is particularly useful when one machine delivers product faster than the next machine can receive it.
- Receives juice or puree from a press, filter or another stage of the line.
- Stabilizes product feeding to a pasteurizer, filling machine or pump.
- It helps organize the operation of the entire production system.
Where is it used?
The buffer tank most often operates between the press and the pasteurizer, before filling or as a balancing tank in more extensive production lines.
Depending on the application, we can prepare it as a simple receiving tank or as an extended version with a pump, agitator, level measurement and suitable process connections.
