Model of a double-jacketed tank
Double-jacketed tank up to 10,000 l
The Stalmont double-jacketed tank is used not only for product storage, but also for active heating or cooling using a working medium flowing through the tank jacket. This solution works well in processes that require more precise temperature control inside the tank.
We manufacture double-jacketed tanks with a capacity of up to 10,000 l, selected according to product type, heating or cooling medium and the operating conditions of the entire installation. The tank can be equipped with an agitator, pump, insulation, level sensors, CIP system and suitable process connections.
WHAT IS IT FOR?
The double-jacketed tank is used for active thermal processing of the product during storage or production processes when heating, cooling or temperature stabilization is required.
This solution gives greater control over process conditions than a standard buffer tank or insulated tank.
- It enables heat or cold transfer through the heating or cooling jacket.
- It helps maintain the required product parameters during the process.
- It supports more demanding production stages before the next machine in the line.
WHERE IS IT USED?
A double-jacketed tank is most often used in lines where buffering alone is not sufficient and product temperature must be controlled before pasteurization, filling or the next mixing stage.
It is suitable for liquid and semi-liquid products that require active heating or cooling through the tank jacket.
