Feeding the raw material into the washing tank
Fruit or vegetables are placed in a tank of water, where the initial washing process begins. The raw material can be fed manually, from a bin tipper or from an earlier stage of the production line.
Fruit washer with grinder
Prepares fruits and vegetables for further processing, pressing or production of juices, purees and mousses. Selection of the model to the line capacity, quick service and technical support.
What is it used for
The washer with a chopper is used for washing, transporting and grinding fruit and vegetables before further processing. The device most often operates as one of the first stages of the production line behind the bin tipper and before the belt press, sawing machine or other device for further processing of the raw material.
Fruit or vegetables go to the washing tank, where they are rinsed and cleaned of dirt. Then, the conveyor transports the raw material towards the shredder, and the washing nozzles additionally wash it while passing through the belt. After washing, the raw material is crushed into pulp, which can be sent directly to the belt press.

How does a shredder washer work?
Fruit or vegetables are placed in a tank of water, where the initial washing process begins. The raw material can be fed manually, from a bin tipper or from an earlier stage of the production line.
During transport, the raw material is additionally rinsed using water nozzles. Spraying removes surface dirt, sand, soil and small impurities, preparing fruit or vegetables for further processing.
The washed raw material is evenly transported by a belt towards the shredder. Constant feeding of fruit and vegetables ensures smooth operation of the device and stable power supply for subsequent machines in the line.
At the end of the process, the fruit or vegetables go to a crusher, which prepares the raw material into pulp. The crushed mass can be fed directly to a belt press or other technological device.

The prepared pulp goes to the belt press, where the juice remains separated from pomace. The juice can still remain directed to the buffer tank, pasteurizer and filling machine.
Frequently asked questions
The price of a fruit washer with grinder depends on the equipment, configuration and degree of automation. Our washers usually range from approx. 6,800-28,000 EUR net. The higher range applies to large, automated devices intended for plants processing up to several dozen tons of fruit per day, also in a version with additional options, such as a sliding shredder. We prepare a detailed offer individually after analyzing production needs.
Our shredder washers have a capacity of approximately 1,500 to 4,000 kg/h. These are the results obtained by our customers in real production conditions, so they may vary depending on the type of raw material, fruit variety, ripeness and method of administration. Different efficiency can be achieved when pouring manually and when working with a bin tipper, which ensures a more uniform power supply to the device.
A washer with grinder is most often used for apples, but it can also work with other fruits and vegetables, including pears, selected soft fruits and root vegetables. Depending on the raw material, the device can operate with a grinder or as a transport washer alone, for example before the de-stoning machine or the next processing stage.
Yes, we provide service for washers with a shredder, access to spare parts and technical support after purchase. If you have questions about the operation of the device, many matters can be resolved by phone. If an on-site visit is necessary, we send a service team to fix the problem as quickly as possible and allow production to resume. We also offer support in starting the machine, setting it up for a specific raw material and training the crew.
We provide a 36-month warranty on the welded structure of the washer. For purchased components, such as engines, pumps or automation elements, the warranty period is usually from 12 to 24 months, depending on the manufacturer of the component. After the warranty ends, we provide post-warranty service, assistance in the event of failure and access to spare parts.
The delivery time for a fruit washer with grinder is usually from 2 to 8 weeks. Simpler configurations can usually be completed faster, while more complex versions with additional options may require longer production time. The exact date depends on the selected model, scope of equipment and current production capacity.
Yes, before purchasing you can see how the washer with grinder and the entire juice production line work. We cooperate with pressing plants that use our machines, so we can organize a meeting during actual production. Such presentations are possible both in Poland and in other European countries, depending on the availability of a given plant and production date.
The payback time of the investment depends on the process for which the washer and shredder is to be used, the scale of production, the type of raw material and the method of its further processing. The smallest models can process about 1,500 kg of raw material per hour, which in one 8-hour shift gives up to about 12,000 kg of fruit or vegetables per day. In practice, it is worth calculating the return on investment based on planned production, manual labor costs, raw material price and the value of the finished product. A washer with grinder can significantly improve the preparation of fruit and vegetables for further processing, especially in lines producing juices, purees, mousses or other food products.
