Raw material unloading

Frequently asked questions

How much does a complete juice production line cost?

The cost of a lower-capacity complete juice production line, where part of the work is done manually, starts from approx. 30,300 EUR. Standard lines with greater automation usually range from approx. 58,300-93,200 EUR. Much larger systems can also be designed, but then we are talking about industrial capacity and individual pricing.

What machines are included in the juice production line?

A typical juice production line consists of a bin tipper, a fruit washer with grinder, a belt press, a buffer tank, a pasteurizer and a Bag-in-Box filler or bottle filler.

How to select the capacity of a complete juice production line?

We select the line capacity based on the amount of raw material, working hours, season length and planned filling method. A 700 l/h line is designed differently than a 1500 l/h system with larger buffering and stable seasonal operation.

What does the juice production process look like on a complete line?

The process starts with raw material feeding and washing. Then the fruit or vegetables are ground, pressed on a belt press, buffered in a tank, pasteurized and filled into Bag-in-Box bags, bottles or other packaging.

Can one line produce juice from different fruits and vegetables?

Yes, but it works best with raw materials that require a similar washing, grinding and pressing process. Stone fruit, such as cherries, plums or apricots, require different preparation — first, the stone must be separated from the raw material, and only then should the pulp be pressed or pureed.

Is a pasteurizer needed to produce juice?

In most juice lines, the pasteurizer is a key element because it helps preserve the juice before filling and extends its shelf life. The pasteurizer is selected according to the line capacity and the chosen packaging format: Bag-in-Box, bottles or other packaging.

What to choose: Bag-in-Box or bottle filling?

Bag-in-Box works well for contract juice pressing, farms and direct sales. Bottles are better when the juice is intended for store shelves, food service or retail sales. Both filling methods can be included in one line.

Can I use machines I already have?

Yes, if their capacity, feeding height and working method allow them to be included in the process. In this case, we select the missing machines and design the line around the equipment that will remain.
