A stone fruit line must safely feed, wash and prepare the raw material for stone separation. The configuration is selected according to the fruit type, such as plums, sour cherries, sweet cherries, apricots or peaches, as well as the planned capacity and packaging method.
The process starts with safe unloading of fruit from containers or pallet boxes. The raw material goes to the washer, where it is rinsed and transported further. For stone fruit, the grinder does not operate continuously, and in a universal version it can be moved or removed for this stage of the process.
The de-stoning machine separates stones and solid fractions, and the resulting pulp, purée or juice semi-finished product goes to the buffer tank. The tank stabilizes operation between de-stoning, pasteurization and filling.
The finished product is heated in a pasteurizer to a set temperature to improve shelf life and product safety. At the end of the line, the product can be filled into Bag-in-Box bags or bottles, depending on the sales model and planned capacity.
