Belt press
Fruit is crushed in between a polypropylene belt, which passes through special rollers. After the first pressing, the material is fed via a return roller to the next (smaller) roller of the press and is crushed again. The belt is automatically tensioned by pneumatic cylinders.
The squeezed juice is scraped off the belt by a scraper. It then passes through the screen belt and is discharged into the collection tank, from which it is pumped out. During the process, the belt is washed by a jet of pressurised water.
